Four Ways Govt Helped With War Effort
  • 1) Shipyard workers exempt from Draft.
  • 2) U.S. Chamber of Commerce started a campaign to
    get every ship yard worker a flag for their home.
  • 3) Pre Fab techniques used.Each division made a
    certain part of the ship, then put the pieces all
    together in one area
  • 4) Government took control of all shipyards
