Interview Attire
Always go with a jacket and men must have a tie.
Conservative colors such as black and navy are
always safe.

Note Business Casual is still about looking
professional and neat. You can lose the jacket
during the day. Jeans are still a no-go.

  • Include your guests name if you introduce someone

  • After an interview or invitation to a function
    write a thank-you note
  • If corresponding via email, be sure to
  • Use a professional email account name
  • Use spell check
  • Correspond just like you would in a letter

  • Professional Greeting
  • Never answer in a crowded place or where you
    cant take the call (i.e. lecture hall hang-up)
  • Always have on your voicemail
  • Lose the cell phone, leave it in the car
  • Rude to have vibrate on and look at phone
  • Rude to let everyone hear your conversation
