- Initially refurbish gt54K unserviceable M864
rounds - Maximize component reuse from unserviceable M483
rounds and surplus M864 metal parts - Addresses OSD UXO Policy of lt1 by adding grenade
self destruct fuzing - Incorporate ERO obturator to extend gun tube life
