  • Spot checks conducted at different locations in
    the city found that at this time we do not need
    two ground rods.
  • Code says we must maintain less than 25 ohms of
    resistance at the ground rod and our tests
    results indicate a variance from a low 4.9 ohms
    to a high 14.3 ohms. All less than 25 Ohms.

INSPECTORS TO USE NEXTELS
  • INSPECTORS WILL START USING THEIR NEXTELS TO
    CONTACT CONTRACTORS IN ADVANCE OF ARRIVING AT JOB
    SITE. THOSE WITHOUT DIRECT CONNECT TWO WAY
    RADIO WILL GET A CELL PHONE CALL.
