Inlusion of PileUp in GEANT simulations - our
current scheme

• Three sources
• Out of time events, UPC e, Beam background
• Out of time events are introduced as correlated
  background from parametrized minbias and zvertex
  shapes. Infinite momentum (straight line is
  assumed)
• UPC e and Beam background as white noise.
  Spiraling can be accounted but not as correlated
  noise. We need guidance about actual numbers
  here.
• Compromises are mostly seconf order effects and
  due to schedule

sectors/padrows etc) perhaps not a good idea
