Purpose of the Modules
  • To provide a supplement to student learning in US
    10097
  • Increase student knowledge base regarding
    advising services in an engaging and student
    friendly manner
  • Integrate with the existing Advising Portfolio

Who is involved?
  • Freshmen Students in US 10097
  • All US 10097 instructors are being invited to
    participate
  • Academic advisors presenting on the advising
    portfolios
  • Co-curricular Learning Community

Student Tool Box for Survival Advising Modules
  • The modules will be introduced during the third
    or fourth week of the semester when the advising
    portfolios are presented to the courses.
  • A car theme was developed throughout the
    modules
  • Participants will receive a key chain pen to
    continue with our theme.
  • Participants will also be entered into a drawing
    for a University book scholarship.
