Oversee BCP Progress

• Coordinate and monitor the development of
  business continuity plans
• Work with agencies to ensure that plans are being
  developed on schedule
• Periodically report to director of DAS on
  progress of agencies

Update BCP Policies

• Review and update DAS policies dealing with
  business continuity planning
• Currently, only updating the timelines for
  developing and testing plans

Hold BCP Meetings

• Conduct informational meetings and hold
  discussion forums
• Meet with BCP Coordinator group on quarterly
  basis
• Meet individually with each agency twice a year
• Hold additional meetings to address specific
  issues, as they arise

Provide Training Opportunities

• Provide training workshops and inform agencies of
  external training opportunities
• Conducted training workshop last month for
  smaller agencies and boards
• In near future, tend to provide training on how
  to test a BCP

Support Use of the eBRP Toolkit

• Support agencies that are using the eBRP Toolkit
  to catalog BCP information and develop plans
• Assist agencies to implement the eBRP Toolkit
• Facilitate meetings and trainings addressing
  toolkit
• Develop and maintain eBRP guidance materials

Provide Tools and Resources

• Develop and distribute BCP guidance materials
• Recently provided two documents with guidance for
  developing BCPs
• Currently editing guidance document for testing
  BCPs
• Will launch updated BCP website in early June

Address Other BCP Issues

• As requested by agencies, address specific issues
  of concern
• Currently working with AGs Office to develop
  policy on pandemic flu
• Currently gathering vendor information to share
  with agencies
• Available to answer questions and provide
  feedback individually, as requested
