Expectations for Dismissal

• Procedures
• Car riders/walkers will be dismissed first
• First wave of buses
• Second wave of buses
• Students involved in any extracurricular activity
  (sport/clubs at MMS) are dismissed with second
  wave.

Expectations

• Walk to your designated dismissal area
• Follow guidelines of respect and hallway
  expectations while exiting the building
• Follow guidelines of respect while waiting
• Stay within the appropriate boundaries
• Use caution at all times
• (Extra locker/restroom time is given between 6th
• and 7th period Students are not at the
• lockers at the end of the day)

• Safety while loading and unloading the bus
• Be on time
• Use safety precautions in getting to the bus stop
  and boarding the bus
• Always cross in front of the bus
• Observe the 10 ft danger zone
• Enter and exit only when the bus has come to a
  complete stop

While in the bus

• Do not distract the driver
• Use a normal tone of voice (level 1 or 2) not a

• Keep head, hands and articles inside the bus
• Do not bring unauthorized articles on the bus
• Do not smoke or use profanity
• Do not fight or scuffle
• Follow the instructions of driver and monitor

Conduct on the bus

• Sit in assigned seat
• Obey the driver and monitor
• Keep the bus clean
• Respect students on the bus and the people we
  pass (do not yell or make signs to those the bus
  passes)
• Do not block the aisle of the bus
• Leave the bus at regular bus stops, unless you
  have written permission
