Classroom Rules
  • Be respectful of everyone! You will get it in
    return.
  • Raise your hand and receive permission to speak
    or get out of your desk.
  • Follow directions and be attentive.
  • No Gum in classroom.
  • Follow all rules and regulations in handbook.
  • If you have any problems, please handle them in
    an appropriate manner.

Consequences
  • Verbal Warning
  • Relocated to seat on other side of classroom
  • Referral to office for detention
  • Referred to Dean of Students (usually results in
    ISS - In School Suspension)
  • Any consequence may be skipped over depending on
    severity of behavior!

  • Chapter/Section Tests (Major Grade)
  • Quizzes - Pop and Announced (Minor Grade)
  • Bellwork (Minor Grade)
  • Homework (Minor Grade)
  • Group work (Minor Grade)
  • Activities (Major or Minor Grade)
  • Worksheets (Minor Grade)
  • Special Assignments (Major or Minor Grade)

Daily Classroom Procedures
  • Enter room quietly
  • Take out appropriate materials
  • Begin Bellwork - no talking, may be a quiz!
  • Turn in Bellwork, lesson of day begins
  • Lesson
  • Close Lesson
  • Wait for dismissal by the teacher, not the tone!

Test Day Procedures
  • Enter room quietly, take out pencil and pen for
    test.
  • Clear desk and area put ID in shirt!
  • Once one test is handed out, no talking
    whatsoever! Will be considered cheating.
  • Turn in test at teachers desk and pick up packet
    for next chapter. Begin working on packet
    (vocabulary words).

  • Lecture and the text will be the main sources of
    information for this course.
  • Additional info will be used (worksheets,
    activities, labs, internet sources, etc.)
  • Test will consist of material covered in class or
    assignments.

  • Please feel free to ask questions!
  • I do not know all the answers, but I will try to
    find out the answer for you.
  • I will be available for extra help. However, you
    must come and ask me! I am more than willing to
    help those who want help.
