Ingredients

• Pastry
• 6oz plain flour
• 1½ oz lard
• 1½ oz marg
• 3 tablespoons of cold
• water
• Pinch of salt

• Filling
• 2 eggs
• 6 tablespoons milk
• 3oz cheddar cheese
• Extra Ingredients
• Small tin of tuna
• 2-3 slices of ham/cooked bacon
• Small onion/tomato, chopped
• prepared.

You will also need a 18cm / 7inch dish

Method

• Put flour fat in a bowl Rub
  in fat until mixture
• resembles breadcrumbs

• Use a round bladed
• knife to mix in water
• a spoonful at a time
• to form a firm dough.

Roll out on a lightly floured surface

Line your 18cm / 7inch flan dish with the pastry

- Beat eggs, milk seasoning together - Place
filling, bacon or ham etc. into the bottom of
the flan dish

Sprinkle the grated cheese on top
Pour over the seasoned egg milk

• Bake for 25-30mins until set.
