- Double-click on the image and it will open in
PageViewer where you can save as, or open with
software and edit. - These scanners can scan documents for editing.

- You must exit the drive you are using before
removing a portable storage device! Switch to
another drive or close the program.

Most computers no longer come with a floppy
drive. Other portable storage devices hold much
more information. A USB stick holds up to 2000
MB compared to 1.44 MB.

- Type in name of document
- Click Save

8Keyboard Shortcuts
- Ctrl C copy
- Ctrl X copy and CUT
- Ctrl V paste
- Ctrl S save (same document, same location)
- Ctrl Z undo the last action
- Ctrl ? advance cursor to beginning of next word
- Ctrl ? move cursor to beginning of previous
word - There are many more shortcuts they will save
your wrists! Go to the Help index in Word and
type in keyboard shortcut and print out a list
to keep by your keyboard.
