Institutional Research, Planning Effectiveness
under IT Leadership - October, 2008 VPAA selected an Assessment
Director to work directly with faculty, endorsed
by the Faculty Senate President, to make student

that initiated an automated institutional

20Educator Preparation Institute (EPI)
- EPI An alternative teacher certification program
for Baccalaureate degree holders. - Our EPI opened its doors in January 2006, with an
initial cohort of 32 students and has grown to
over 300 active students - 87 students have completed the program and
received their professional teaching certificate - Special attention is given to the critical need
areas of Mathematics, Science and Exceptional

fields ESE, Mathematics, Reading and Science . - Surveyed 259 Broward Education majors with an 82
interest rate -
- BC took the opportunity to meet the needs of the
community and partnered with the largest employer
in the County, Broward County Public Schools.
