interview with Jerry Seinfeld. He is questioned
by News Anchor Mrs. Norma Rashid A mere look
at Normas past... Norma Rashid used to be an
amazing news anchor on Channel 5 News. I think I
figured out that I wanted to be an anchor when I
was a junior in college. she says.

The Ball Starts Rolling

• I actually started out only as a disc jockey on
  a radio station, Norma says. She then started
  working her way up to radio news, then to an
  Assignment Editor/ Writer for a news station in
  Charlotte, North Carolina. Finally, she became a
  News Anchor on Channel 5 News right here in the
  tri-state.

Youve interviewed HOW many people?

• Who all has Norma interviewed?
• Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Ford, Lots of them.
  Up to Bush Jr.- I havent interviewed him.
• Her list also includes

• Jerry Seinfeld
• Peter Jennings
• Entire cast of Seinfeld
• Entire cast of ER
• And
• Lots of Opera stars
• TONS more. I could go on forever!

Ever felt Uncomfortable?

• Another time was when Norma had to interview the
  head of the KKK or the Ku Klux Klan. They are a
  racist group. While I was interviewing her they
  held guns to my chest. A third restless time
  was while interviewing politicians in Ukraine.

• Sometimes interviewing looks really easy, but it
  can be scary work.
• I was uncomfortable interviewing some people.
  There were prisoners with guns in 1993 that had
  killed 11 people. It was a prison in Ohio that
  was taken over by its prisoners. I interviewed
  them during the prisoners reign over the prison.

Ive Been Every Where Man

• Where all has Norma traveled?

• And many more.

Innnteresting!

• I think the most interesting person Ive
  interviewed would actually be persons.
• Bill Clinton would have to be one because he was
  very frank. He was completely himself. He didnt
  put on any faces.

• The other person isnt famous, but he was someone
  who worked at Chernobyl when the nuclear accident
  occurred. He was slowly dying of radiation
  poisoning. We talked through a translator, but
  the emotions in his eyes were strong and sad.

Letting Go

• Unfortunately I had to stop my job because I have
  a serious heart illness. I was advised by my
  doctors to stop. If I didnt, Id be putting my
  life at risk.

Now?

• Right now in my life, I am just taking care of
  myself. Norma is on two charity boards (such as
  the American Heart association), and she
  substitute teaches. Shes also taking care of her
  3 kids, her dog, 3 cats, and horse. She is living
  life as a mom.
