• Start-Programs Settings System-Power
• Check batteries

Making a Folder in the IPAQ

• Go to Start - Programs File Explorer - My
  Documents
• Edit New Folder Name the folder with your
  name or period.
• This is where you will save all your documents
  for the next few weeks.

Pocket Word

• Smaller scale version of Word on computer
• Tap on Start Menu
• Go to Word open the keyboard
• Practice tapping to type message
• Tap and Hold to get other menus

Saving Your Documents

• Save your document Tools-save document as
• Name your document
• Navigate to the correct folder

Transcriber

• Click on the down arrow next to the keyboard icon
• Click on Transcriber
• Use the stylus to write the the blank space
• Practice writing neatly

ITASK

• When you close a program it is not really closed
  it is still running.
• ITASK is how you shut them down.
• Arrow button on front of IPAQ bottom right
• Start programs ITASK
• Click on one program and hold
• Close all tasks

Remember to do these things

• Change your brightness back in the settings
• Itask to close down programs
• Shut off IPAQ completely
• Return Stylus to slot make sure it locks into
  place.

Transferring Files to Computer

• Log in to the machine.
• Open Active Sync
• Take your IPAQ and place in the cradle
• Click Cancel OK you are now a guest
• Open My Computer
• Double click on Mobile Device Wait
• Copy your folder files to your server by drag
  and drop
