3Stand
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty
power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you
can take your STAND against the devils schemes.
12For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the
authorities, against the powers of this dark
world and against the spiritual forces of evil in
the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full
armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes,
you may be able to STAND your ground, and after
you have done everything, to STAND. 14STAND firm
then. Eph. 610-14a. NIV
4- 4But you belong to God, my dear children. You
have already won your fight with these false
prophets who are empowered by the spirit of
anti-Christ, because the Spirit who lives in you
is greater than the spirit who lives in the
world. 1 John 44 NLT - What can we say about such wonderful things as
these? If God is for us, who can ever be against
us? Rom. 831 NLT
5TRUTH
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled
around your waist14a. NIV
6Righteousness
This flexible armour was made up of metal strips
held together with metal ties. They were so heavy
that soldiers had to help each other to put them
on.
7Peace
These sandals were designed to help the Romans
march for long distances. They were strong, well
ventilated and allowed the soldiers to march very
quickly. The sandals often had metal studs at the
bottom to make them last longer.
8Faith
These military shields were made of wood, covered
on the out- side with thick leather, which not
only deadened the shock of missiles, but
protected the frame of the shield from the
fire-tipped darts used in the artillery of the
ancients.

depend on your own understanding. 6Seek his will
in all you do, and he will direct your paths. Pr.

Centurions and other Officers wore crests on the
top of their helmets so that the other men could
follow them in battle. The helmets helped to
protect the head, face and neck in a battle.
12Offensive weapons

word of God. 18Pray at all times and on every
