• A Gantt Chart is a simple and effective project
  management tool
• Graphical cross-reference between key project
  components and the project timeline
• It is a schedule monitoring method

Gantt Chart Steps

• Break the project into logical components
• Chart each component across the project timeline
• Timeline units can be years, months, weeks, days,
  hours, etc.
• Estimate beginning and ending points for each
  component
• Think about which components need to be completed
  before others can start
