Write a first draft of your bylaws

• Include sections on
• Name and purpose of the organization
• Membership
• Officers and decision-making
• General, special and annual meetings
• Board of Directors

After completion of draft

• Meet as a group to discuss the proposed bylaws
• Complete and approve the final draft
• Be sure copies are given to anyone who needs them
• Use your bylaws!
• Review and amend your bylaws periodically
