  • There is a prevailing thought among some that
    being rich is equal to being righteous
  • This mindset is revealed by Jesus Himself against
    those who justified their righteousness.
  • He wanted them to know that such a mindset and
    practice would lead to their ultimate poverty.

    be kept within a proper stewardship.

The Parable of the Unjust Steward
  • The parable. Lk. 161-8
  • This steward wasted the riches of His masters
    goods entrusted to Him.
  • In the end he needed to give an accounting for
    his deeds.
  • The master ultimately commended the steward for
    dealing shrewdly (wisely insightfully).
