Course Description

• This course is designed to equip the learner with
  the basic skills necessary to operate and use a
  microcomputer device in support of general office
  functions. The course is divided into four parts
  and covers fundamental computer concepts, word
  processing, electronic spreadsheet, and
  presentation software. The base software will be
  StarOffice 8, although cross-reference will be
  made at length to Microsoft Office 2007.

Class Policies

• All policies, rules and regulations issued by the
  university shall be observed.
• Deadlines, unless otherwise specified, shall be
  during class hours if falling on class dates, or
  shall be before noon of the date set. Late
  submissions will not be allowed.

Class Policies

• Absolutely no special quiz shall be given.
  Special exam shall be available only for those
  who failed to take a major exam due to reasons
  such as death of an immediate family member,
  hospitalization, calamity and the like.
• Having no permit yet during any major exam is not
  a ground for the grant of a special exam.
