1,500 km - 1998 Both India and Pakistan make nuclear tests

- 2003 It is revealed that Abdul Qadir Khan was
responsible for building a proliferation network
and selling nuclear technology to countries such
as North Korea, Iran and Libya - Khan is pardoned by the Pakistani government but
stays until today under house arrest
