Worship Defined

• Worship Reverent love and devotion for a deity
  through ceremonies or prayers by which this love
  is expressed.
• Simply put
• Love of Deity expressed
• When I talk of a lifestyle of worship I am
  referring to life with one purpose, simply to
  express love for my deity, my Jesus

1 Sam 1522

• 22 But Samuel replied        "Does the LORD
  delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices       
  as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD ?
         To obey is better than sacrifice,       
  and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

• 15"If you love me, you will obey what I command.

• 19Therefore go and make disciples of all
  nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
  and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Discipleship Is Not

• Community Services that do not share the gospel
• Evangelistic outreaches that do not move a new
  convert to maturity
• Something I (you, we) are not called to do

Discipleship Is

• TIME, it takes an astronomical amount of hours to
  see someone mature to the point of reproduction.
• Un-gratifying, the people whom the Lord intends
  for you to disciple often dont appreciate your
  investment.
• Done not for what it gives us but rather our love
  for Jesus compels us to obey Him.

Convict My Heart Lord

• If I am not loving someone in Christs name, If
  my life is not centered on making disciples, my
  worship is an empty religious ceremony.

The Bible Says

• If I dont obey Jesus command to make disciples,
  I dont love Him, not according to Jn 1415
• if You love me you will obey what I command.

•   40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth,
  whatever you did for one of the least of these
  brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Examples of Worship

• The time Pebbles spends on preparing a message to
  teach students about Biblical truth
• Loving an unlovely person in Christs name
• Picking up people to go to Church
• What an Honor!
• We get to love our Savior in a tangible, real way
  every day by making disciples!
