• Contract Bid/New Operating Contract for Fermilab)
• URA/University of Chicago Limited Liability

• Lab Management were key personnel in this bid.
• Proposal submitted in August
• Oral Exam Sept 19.
• Award not yet announced
• Nominal Transition Period from Nov 1 to Jan 1.
• PAC Meetings resumed with meeting last week.
• Current Issues have to do with the fact that
  tehre is no budget, we are working with a
  continuing resolution based on a very low number.

Accelerator Shutdown

• Accelerator work went well and was completed as
  scheduled
• D0 Layer 0 installations went well and were
  completed on schedule
• D0 Trigger installation went very well.
• D0 AFE electronics for Fiber Tracker,
  construction complete, commissioning in progress
• CDF Trigger Upgrades nearly fully commissioned

• Shutdown work was successfully accomplished
• Accelerator Complex continues to improve
• Detector Upgrades are complete and last pieces in
  commissioning
• Physics Output from Collider is phenomenal
• Neutrino Program is continuing to make good
  progress
• Looking forward to a productive 2006
