    Education from Beloit College
  • 7th year in 3rd grade at Indian Prairie

Tests
  • Before most tests, there will be a study guide
    sent home
  • Study guides also available on the classroom
    website
  • Students are given time in class to work on the
    study guide (if needed).
  • We will go over the completed study guides
    together
  • Look for the study guides to come home
    approximately two days before a scheduled test

Pearce Pride Cards
  • Students can earn cards for
  • Good Behavior
  • Turning in homework on time
  • Being prepared and organized for class
  • Anything that stands out and should be rewarded
  • Students will redeem their Pearce Pride Cards
    twice a month.
  • Students can redeem the cards for small prizes
    and other great things!
  • Have any items to donate??? Let me know!

Ticket System
  • Each student is given 2 tickets.
  • If a student misbehaves or is not following
    directions, he/she will need to give me a ticket.
  • If both tickets are collected before the end of
    the day, that student will need to fill out a
    Behavior Reflection Form.
  • The Behavior Reflection Form will need to be
    signed by the teacher and the parent, then
    returned the next school day.
  • If no one has to turn in any tickets, the class
    will earn compliment marbles for the day!

  • Loss of Privilege (recess, other) to complete
    work
  • Absent Student? Work can be sent home with a
    sibling or neighbor or picked up at the office.
    Please request the homework before noon.
