AUTHORITY
- Created in 1973 (33 years ago) to be a County
Authority to deal with water and wastewater
problems and solutions. - ICMSA owns and operates 14 water supply systems,
owns and operates 15 wastewater systems,
administrates the County Sewage Enforcement
Agency (30 members). - ICMSA provides operating and management contracts
to both private and municipal sewer plants, like
the Homer City STP. - ICMSA assists the 30 members of the Sewage
Enforcement Agency to complete and implement Act
537 Official Sewer Plans.
