MEDIA CENTER RULES

• Walk at all times
• Level 0 when on the carpet
• level 1 when asking questions
• Stay seated at the tables
• Please keep bottoms in chairs
• Please keep all four legs on the ground

MEDIA CENTER PROCEDURES

• Place books only where they belong, if unsure
  return them to the checkout desk or your teacher
• Books should be even with the shelf edge so
  others may see the titles and call numbers on the
  spine

• Return books the day before you visit the media
  center so you will be able to checkout new ones

• Each student will receive a library card
• Take books to the Checkout desk
• Put your thumb on the owl or on top of the books
• Lines should face the computer

MEDIA CENTER INFORMATION

• Students can visit the Media Center with their
  class or 2-3 may visit using a pass
• Students with passes can only checkout books if
  Mr. White is present
• If the library door is locked please return books
  at a later time

• Return any and all media books to the Media
  Center
• See Mr. White if you have questions

MEDIA CENTER INFORMATION

• Students cannot check out books if their books
  were not returned the prior day
• By 230pm (130pm on Wednesday)
• Only exception is individual students with passes
  exchanging books
• These students bring both books to the checkout
  desk and ask for assistance
• Does not apply to entire class

MEDIA CENTER INFORMATION

• Teachers visiting the media center will receive a
  list of students who have media books still
  checked out
• Students will sit in the designated area and wait
  until their teacher reviews the class list
• Students with two books out OR overdue books
  cannot get a new book and must remain seated
