HOW TO DIAGNOSE JAUNDICE?

Tests for determining jaundice are CT scan,

During a liver biopsy, a small incision is made
to remove with a needle inserted into the belly
liver through a vein in your neck and cut in your
belly. Prothrombin time is also checked to
measure how long it takes for blood plasma to
clot.

its complications can be managed with
medications. Phototherapy, using special lights
to break down excess bilirubin, may be used for
infants. To lower the risk of jaundice, quit
smoking and limit alcohol intake. Avoid herbal
supplements, practice safe sex, maintain a
healthy weight, and consult your doctor before
taking medications.
