Step 1 

• Take a dry rag and dust off the muddy and dusty
  particles from the screen. This step is really
  important because you dont want the dust to
  spread out when you use warm water on the screen.
  Rather, it will spoil the screen badly. But make
  sure that you do not scrub the rag. Well yes, you
  can slight increase the pressure while dusting
  off dust particles, but be careful with the same.

Step 2

• Now, try to find a spray bottle in your home. If
  you want to make that bottle as a permanent
  solution for your projection screen cleaning, you
  might want to take a bigger one for further use.
  All you have to do is fill the bottle with warm
  water. Do not use any type of chemical compound
  or detergent. When you use such products, it
  might fade your screen. Just fill up warm water
  and spray the same on the rag before the water
  cools down.

Step 3

• After spraying warm water on a clean rag and
  clean the screen with the same. But make sure you
  not use too much of water as it might spoil the
  screen or leave some damage behind. Be careful
  with the consistency of water you spray on the
  rag. If you are planning to clean only a single
  part of the screen, well you must not! It will
  ruin the quality of the screen in future. When
  you are cleaning the same, make sure you rub the
  entire screen with the clean rag.

• Now when you have tapped your pull down
  projection screen with warm cloth, now dry the
  screen with another cloth. If you notice any
  water effect on the screen, wipe the safe with a
  clean rag. The rags that you are using for
  cleaning the projection screen must be soft and
  always clean.

• I have kept separate rags for cleaning the
  projection screen in my drawer. I do not use
  those rags for other purpose. You can follow the
  same. And if you are planning to use any sort of
  cleanser, you must look out for instructions and
  where that cleanser is used exactly. You do get
  some projection screen cleanser. You can use the
  same as it will not entirely damage the
  projection screen. Screens are sensitive and when
  one spray any sort of chemical compound on the
  same. It further spoils the coating on the screen
  which is destroying the pixels and images on the
  screen.
• And just because of some cheap cleanser, you
  will have the entire screen soiled. So do not use
  any such compound. And if you do, make sure that
  liquid is meant for projection screen cleaning
  purpose.
