  • Recruitment is a process of searching the most
    eligible and competent candidate for the
    organization. The whole process includes number
    of steps, after which the shortlisted candidates
    are confirmed to be employed.

  • The first most step is to identify and evaluate
    the need
  • Job analysis is conducted in order to understand
    the job profile if the department is new to you.
  • While when the attrition occurs, the replacement
    of role may have to be managed.
  • Reviewing the previous job description, the new
    and changed roles and responsibilities are to be
    decided.
  • Adding up to this working details, such as
    working hours, packages and benefits

  • After identification, the detailed Job
    Description is needed
  • This include the well written description of Job
    Profile, which is used to attract the candidates,
    interview questions and interview evaluation.
  • This clearly explains the roles and
    responsibilities in order to avoid wastage of
    time on non-eligible candidates.
  • This helps in establishing the performance
    objective from the very beginning.
  • There are factors to be kept into notice and
    should be identified before developing a job
    description like general information, minimum
    requirement, Qualification etc.

  • Now comes the Recruitment Plan
  • Recruitment plan is prepared in order to execute
    the process.. This needs a proper documentation
    as before execution it has to approved by the
    higher authorities. This is to ensure that the
    applicant pool includes women and disables. The
    recruitment plan is executed with the help of

  • Time period for the post to be advertised must be
    decided in order to meet-up the target of filling
    the position.
  • Advertisement There are various sources of
    advertisement these days which can help the
    recruiter to attract the applicant pool.
  • The advertisement sources you can use are, social
    media, print media, conducting job-fairs, Campus
    placement programs etc..
  • With the help of such programs either the
    candidates are directly screened or their resumes
    are received.
  • Job-portals are another source to shortlist the
    best suited resume.

  • Selection Committee is selected
  • After sorting the eligible candidates,a
    selection committee is selected in order to avoid
    biasness. Every hiring manager have to appoint a
    group of officers who are able to make decision
    in a better way and without being partial.

  • After everything is finalized
  • Now the whole plan is ready to be executed,
    resumes are shortlisted , interviews are
    conducted Depending on the company rules and
    policies, written test, Personal interview ,
    technical interview, Panel interview are
    conducted in order to further screen and finally
    select the candidate.
  • In this case interview questions are prepared for
    written tests, Personal interviews and Panels.
  • After interview, all the things are evaluated by
    the experts and reports are handed over to the HR
    authorities.

  • Finalizing
  • After preparing the results for the interviews
    conducted, the candidates are called up for a
    final round, which consist of salary negotiation,
    confirmation letter and appointment letter.
