Learning Outcomes
Katerina Baitinger has long experience in
teaching, program development and leadership
training. She has taught writing, literature, and
philosophy courses since 1992. Her experience
ranges from learning outcomes and assessment to
academic advisement, program reviews and
implementation, and writing and reading across
curriculum initiatives. She holds an M.A. from
San Diego State University and a Ph.D. from the
University of Athens. Katerina Baitinger is the
author of two books, and has extensively
researched the theory of multiple intelligence.

Katerina Baitinger is an established academic.
She was the director of academic advisement at
Middlesex Community College in Middletown,
Connecticut, where she organized academic
advising services for new and returning students,
and was an advisement resource to faculty and
staff. She was also the English departments
director at Briarwood College. She was Assistant
Dean and later Associate Dean at the William J.
Maxwell College of Arts and Sciences, of New
Jersey City University, and was Dean of Arts and
Sciences at St. Josephs College in New York.

She has held a Yale University Fellowship in
Teaching and Learning, a Leadership Fellowship,
and has extensive experience in program
development, First Year student services, and
Writing Across the Curriculum. Katerina
Baitingers research addresses philosophy,
literature, and teaching. She has been published
in various professional journals and is the
author of two books. Katerina Baitinger has long
been interested in the theory of multiple
intelligence.

Katerina Baitinger is a hard worker who is driven
to excel in whatever she does. She is an academic
with a stellar résumé, who cares deeply about
educating Americas youth and improving its
education system. Katerina Baitinger is the
author of two published books, and thoroughly
enjoys the dual process of researching and
writing. She is also a hood-hearted person who is
devoted to her family. Katerina Baitinger has
devoted many hours of her spare time to community
service, including Suicide Awareness and
Prevention and the National Disability Mentoring
Program.
