Title: China’s Dress Policy

1
Chinas Dress Policy
  • All over the globe, every country has different
category and kinds of policies when it comes in
wearing dress. Consider also if its fitted when
wore. When it comes in wearing of dress, the
westerners are well known. In every kind of
events or gathering (wedding, party, church,
holiday, business, office and recreation) they
    wear different kind of clothes.
  • On the other hand, there are other people still
expect to be unusual. For example, they wear a
pair of slippers when they are asked to wear
black tie, they wear a swallow-tailed coat when
they are invited to barbeque in the open air.
Nevertheless, policy of dress is just a policy
    however not everyone follows this.
  • We all know, China is very traditional oriental
country. Chinese people pay a large amount of
money as well as awareness to their set of
clothes. They wear well-mannered dresses in order
for them to respect by the other people. On this
scenario, its very rare to see Chinese young
woman wearing a short dress in public.
  • If you going to visit or have a tour on Chinas
coastal cities as a foreign tourist, you will
notice that the majority of the women dont wear
bikini. The westerners are more traditional than
the easterners. Chinese women in western side are
recommended to wear a conservative swimming suit,
if not you will going a very attention-grabbing
    lady.
  • Chinese wear a well-mannered dress when joining
dinner usually during the traditional festivals
like Spring Festival. Indecent clothes can make
your pride lost. In this scenario, man commonly
wears a suit and Mid-aged woman wear chinese
dress. And young people wear semi formal.
  • In all we know, red is the most like color of
Chinese people. They believed that red symbolizes
luck and fortune and only the bright colors can
match the ambiance of festivals so that they
prefer to wear red clothing in festivals or great
ceremonies. On this scenario, prepare some
brightly-colored coat if you travel to the
country or visit your Chinese relatives during
the Spring Festival. This is so-called When in
    Rome, do as Romans do.
  • Dont bother well about your dress in case that
you are going to visit a Chinese family. They are
not very choosy about their guests clothes even
though Chinese people value a choice of
etiquettes. Provided that you dont wear too
weird or body-revealed, it will be fine. Plain
    clothes are also acceptable.
  • You better prepare a decent dress when you are in
a package tour. Occasionally, some travel agency
set a formal dinner and concert for you. If you
look too untidy due to your clothe, you may not
be allowed to enter in this event.
