    allign requirements
  • Define smaller steps with limited- new money
    (experimentation) to fill the gaps
  • Know the limitations of procurement
    cycle/process (not the same as fast track
    procurement)

NOR/NLDSubNetRelay
National Flag
Subnet Relay (SNR) is an ad-hoc network providing
IP connectivity to disadvantaged platforms.
During CWID we will demonstrate SNR using fixed
and mobile nodes (vehicle as opposed to ships),
and a S5066 connection to Haakonsvern Naval base,
Bergen. This connection will provide live data
feed to the network.
3x5 inch Image or Diagram If you can control
resolution, at least 300dpi is preferable. This
resolution applies to National Flag and Crest as
well.

  • Interoperability testing of SubNetRelay as an
    ad-hoc network between NOR and NLD in a static
    and dynamic environment.

    to a SNR network.

Conclusions/observations
  • (N)NEC CDE is central for NLD transformation/
    innovation of military capabilites (RNLN fully
    involved)
  • CDE needs vision drive
  • CDE needs to be internationally embedded
    (STANAG, research etc.)
  • CDE is not the same as fast track procurement
  • Industry can be a multiplier and catalyst
  • CDE is sometimes the only way to get operational
    capability to the warfighterquickly!
