Title: ABRAHAM LINCOLN

1
ABRAHAM LINCOLN
  • CREATE Prosperity by discouraging
    savings
  • GIVE Power to the weak by
    weakening the strong
  • HELP The employee by wrecking the
    employer
  • FAVOUR Human fraternity by
    discouraging class war/struggle
  • HELP The poor by ruining the rich
  • AVOID Worries by spending more than
    what you earn
  • FORM Character and will by
    discouraging initiative taking and
    independence
  • HELP Continuously people by doing for
them what they could do for themselves.

2
NELSON MANDELA
  • Inspiration, believe and faith can change the
order of things. During his swearing in ceremony,
Mandela recalled these words from Karl Von
    Clausewitz
  • Some statesmen and Generals have tried to avoid
the decision battle. History has destroyed their
    illusion .
  • Nowadays, Mandela is rated as the greatest leader
in Africa and one of the greatest living legends
    in world.

3
MAHATMA GANDHI
  • I am not a visionary. I claim to be a practical
    idealist.
  • I have not the shadow of a doubt that any man or
woman can achieve what I have, if he or she would
make the same effort and cultivate the same hope
    and faith.

4
CONCLUSION
  • These words allow me to conclude that creating
enterprises is a risk, an adventure, but an
exciting one. Venture capital is even a wilder
adventure, an obliged passage for sustainable
development of a continent, a country and above
    all, human being.
  • In building a successful enterprise as in
building a strong nation challenges and failures
are inevitable, but we must capitalize and learn
from those failures. We must set a new order for
our country, for our enterprises, for our lives.
We must dare. It is the only way for Africa to
find its lost confidence, in a nutshell its
    dignity.

5
CONCLUSION
  • As we chart new paths in our economic endeavours,
like our illustrious leaders Abraham LINCOLN,
Nelson MANDELA, Mahatma GHANDI, we should do so
impersonally and selflessly. We should be driven
by the urge to do things because it is right to
do so, and not because of our personal gains.
  • As we get inspired to move ahead, we must
believe, believe and believe that African
Economic Development is possible as we truly
capitalize on our failures we should remember
that a downfall is only a false step that leads
to a final victory without which there will be no
glory. Whoever is afraid of failure is going to
fail. Let us therefore dare as Venture Capital
    does, and success will follow.
