What is Document Imaging?

• Document Imaging is the online storage,
  retrieval, and management of electronic images of
  documents.
• The main methods of capturing images are scanning
  paper documents or importing electronic
  documents.
• The images can be viewed by any authorized users.
  The images can also be sent to recipients on a
  network or the World Wide Web.
