Maoism

• The political philosophy of Mao, which held that
  a government is legitimate if it is taking all
  necessary steps toward reaching communism. In
  Maos China that meant a strong central political
  authority, and state control of the means of
  production and of all economic, cultural, and
  ideological activity.
