  • Complete all individual Course Requirements
  • Earn 21 total credits by the end of the Senior
    year

  • Taken for first time March 2008
  • end of 10th grade
  • Students have a total of 6 trials to pass it

Grades, Attendance Earning Credits
  • To receive credit for a full year course
  • Pass three of the four 9-week grading periods
  • Have no more than 18 absences for the year
  • To pass a semester course, a student must
  • Obtain a minimum 2 points (where D 1 pt.)
  • Have no more than 9 absences for the semester

If you Fail a Course
  • Failing one 9-week grading period
  • Must pass 3 of 4 grading period to earn credit
  • Failing one Semester when one is passed
  • Retake one semester in Summer School or on
    NovaNet
  • Retake entire course next year
  • Failing English
  • Must earn 4 credits of English to graduate
  • If not made up in Summer School or on NovaNet,
    extra year spent in high school before can
    graduate

Scheduling Procedures
  • Plan courses carefully, changes are NOT routine
  • Students complete a Course Registration form
  • (these determine what courses are offered)
  • Students use this form to enter selected courses
    on computer in MS computer lab with Mrs. Grogro
  • Course selection sheets are taken home for
    parents to sign
  • Course request sheet due with parent signature
  • Guidance Office works with course / class data to
    balance classes adjust student schedules
  • Tentative schedules are given to students to take
    home for parents to review
  • Schedule changes may be made, if necessary
  • Tentative schedules are sent home with students
    final Report Cards in June
