• Political instability
• Basically this means that some of the
  governments,
• like Germany, were weak.
• Economic devastation
• This means some countries were have HUGE
  problems with money.

• Some examples of this are..
• Worldwide depression
• High war debt owed by Germany
• High inflation
• Massive unemployment

• The Rise of Fascism
• Fascism is a political philosophy where total
  power is given to a dictator, and individual
  freedoms are denied.
• Germany and Italy both became fascist countries.
  It may be hard
• to understand why people would want that type of
  government.
• When things seem like they cant get any worse,
  people will agree
• to things they wouldnt normally.
