Non-belligerent
  • Country refuses to fight on someones side during
    the conflict.
  • May not be completely neutral.

Collaborationism
  • Come together and help that side
  • Actually fight along side them
  • Give them supplies, weapons, food
  • Passive do nothing. Accept that they have been
    conquered and go on with their way of life.

Co-belligerent
  • Comes in and fights during the conflict without
    having any formal agreement.
  • Want something out of it in the event they win.
  • Example Finland helped Germans fight against
    Soviets because they hoped to gain independence
    from the Soviet Union.

Puppet State
  • An outside country has put a government in place
    and that outside country directs the affairs in
    that country.
  • Example WWII- Germany made Hungary a puppet
    state.
