• Our mission is to create specification centered
  solutions that enable rapid development and
  diffusion of interoperable petrotechnical
  applications to meet the needs of a dynamic
  hydrocarbon industry

• 1.1 Establish and maintain quality data and
  inter-operability specifications for commercial
  products and services
• 1.1.1 Top priorities are Business Object
  Interoperability and the Epicenter Logical Data
  Model

The Way Forward

• POSC Management will propose in March 1999 a
  Throw the Switch method to implement ENDS, with
  costs, time frame, and options for corresponding
  revenue generation
