recommended that you have a list of courses you

- OMR is
- The Universitys base record of your modules.
- The record of the methods by which you will be
examined. - Incorrect information might mean you will not be
able to sit an examination. - Essential that the information is correct.

- Registering modules in OMR does not mean that you
are automatically signed up for them in the
Academic Dept concerned and vice versa. - First, discuss with the Academic Dept.
- Follow Departmental procedure for signing up for
modules. - Only after you have done that, register your
modules in OMR.

- Before you can register in OMR, you will need to
have completed your online enrolment, and
registered for an IT Services account.

- After you have registered your modules in OMR,
print a copy of the Module Registration Summary
Page. - Attach this to the Module Examination and
Confirmation Form.

- Take completed form and attached print-out to
each Dept in which you are taking a module. - Get a signature from each Dept go to the
Departmental Office only. - Bring the form and print-out to your contact in
the International Office as soon as possible, and
no later than Fri 10 Oct 08 end of Week 2.

- You will need to register your WBS modules in the
WBS system as well (my.WBS). - But you must also register them in OMR.

- If no suitable Method of Assessment in OMR
- Come to see your contact in the International
Office. - Also, if you are not sure of the correct Method
of Assessment in your case.

Academic Dept concerned. - Follow Departmental procedure for signing up for
modules in that Dept. - Register your modules in OMR.
- Print the Module Registration Summary Page.
- Attach it to your Module and Examination
Confirmation Form.

- 6. Get a signature from each Dept in which you
are taking a module. - 7. Bring it to your contact in the International
Office as soon as possible, and no later than Fri
10 Oct 08 end of Week 2. - 8. Note the arrangements for handing in your
form shown at the top of the form.

- You will have access to OMR until the end of Week
2. - Subsequent changes
- Tell us as soon as possible, so that we can make
the changes for you after Week 2. - No more changes will be possible after Week 3.

- Full Year and Autumn/Spring students
- We will send you a Module Selection Update Form
in January to make sure that we have the
correct information for the Spring/Summer Terms. - If one of your modules runs for only the Autumn
Term, you will not be able to make any changes to
the Method of Assessment after the module has
finished!

- Exams
- Generally in Weeks 5-9 of the Summer Term.
- In some Depts, some exams might take place
earlier than the main exam period. - Exam Time-Table will be available at the end of
Week 2 of the Summer Term. - It is your responsibility to check when and
where - your exams are taking place.

- For Autumn only and Autumn/Spring Term students
