  • Built 9 new towns since during 1973, made to cope
    with Hong Kong population.
  • 1.8 million people lived in 3 new towns Tsuen
    Wan, Sha Tin and Lantau.
  • Scheme assigned to make New Towns and most are
    located in Lantau.
  • Most New Towns are located in Tung Chung.
  • New Towns are located in Tung Chung because they
    are near the airport.
