2TG 2 terms of reference
- Provide WG information to ensure transparency and
openness - Develop supporting tools for disseminating
information on ISO and its SR activities such as
FAQ, presentation materials, leaflets and
brochures - Meet the needs of the other TG in terms of
communication - Develop a plan to conduct strategic promotion and
communication on WGs efforts - Establish and improve criteria, as necessary, for
approval of its output - Monitor and evaluate outputs of TG 2

- To enhance understanding of WG SR activities, TG
2 has - Prepare Press Releases following each plenary
meeting - Publish of the SR Newsletter
- Publish a SR Brochure
- Develop the Standard Presentation Tool Kit
- Host the Poster Session during Plenary meetings
- Host Open Workshop
- Initiate the SR Registered Presenter Program

- Providing general information on the WG SR
meetings - In cooperation with the WG leaders and the
ISO Central Secretariat PR Unit, press release
was distributed shortly after the meeting.

-Indonesian-Malaysian
7Standard Presentation Kit
- This standard presentation kit is used by ISO/SR
registered presenters to promote and communicate
WG SR efforts. - An ISO/SR Registered Presenter may be any
ISO/CS member, TMB member, WG leader, TG leader,
WG expert, and non-WG expert nominated by NSBs or
D-liaisons. - - Resolution 13 WG SR Lisbon meeting
-ISO/TMB/WG/SR recommends that each
participating NSB assign at least one individual
to become a SR Registered Presenter in order to
expand the geographical reach and multilingualism
of SR Registered Presenters. - Standard presentation kit is translated by
several languages.

9Poster sessions and Open workshops
- Poster sessionsTG 2 hosts poster sessions at
each plenary meeting and encourages participants
to share information that will assist and inspire
others. - OpenworkshopsTG 1 and TG 2 organize
Openworkshops for the better understandings of
ISO SR Standardization activities. -
10Way Forward
- Moving ahead, TG 2 will
- Identify NSBs, WG experts, or Task Forces to
translate communication materials into more
languages - Update the Standard Presentation Kit
- Encourage registration of SR Registered Presenter
with SR event coordination - Host an Open Workshop and Poster Session
associated with each Plenary meeting - Post all WG SR communications materials to the
website - Work to develop more dynamic and engaging WG SR
promotional materials - Develop model communication plan for ISO 26000
promotion
11Model Communication plan
- The purpose of the Model Communication Plan is
to provide guidance to all ISO members on
communicating with stakeholders and the general
public, focusing on - Awareness raising,
- Increase effective participation,
- Preparedness for adoption of ISO 26000,
- Strategies for communicating with decision
makers.
12Objectives
- The objective of the plan is to ensure the
effective dissemination of a consistent and
accurate message about ISO 26000. - The WG SR activity communication objectives can
be divided into - General (throughout development of ISO 26000)
- Pre- ISO 26000 publication
- Publication of ISO 26000 and
- Post- ISO 26000 publication.

17Translation process
- TTF(Translation Task Force)/NSBs can translate
communication material developed by TG 2. - NSBs sends translated materials with translation
approval to TG 2. - TG 2 sends final translated materials to WG SR
leadership for review and approval.
