7How To Pay Tuition!
- Concordia University cohort delivered programs
have three options available. - Option 1 Payment in Full
- Option 2 Tuition Reimbursement
- Option 3 Sallie Mae

9Using Financial Aid for Payment

- Financial aid must be awarded, and all paperwork
must be complete, in order to defer payment by
using Financial Aid funds. - Any charges, over and above the financial aid
amount, are due on the date(s) determined by your
selected payment option.
10Payment Option 1
- Payment in full by the due date(s) listed below.
A late fee of 25.00 is added to outstanding
balances every 4 weeks after a term begins. - Term 1 is due on the 3rd week of class.
- Subsequent terms are due on or before the 1st
class night of each term. -
11Payment Option 2
- There is a 45 calendar day grace period for
payment of individual courses. - This option is designed for individuals who will
be receiving Tuition Assistance from their
employer or organization. - This grace period allows sufficient time to
submit/receive reimbursement and make payment to
Concordia.
12Payment Option 2, Cont
- If your employer requires Proof of Payment in
order to receive reimbursement, you are not
eligible to participate in this option. - You must complete Concordias Tuition
Reimbursement Agreement. - In addition, you must submit a copy of your
employers tuition reimbursement policy in order
to qualify for this option.
13Payment Option 2, Cont.
- Failure to submit all required paperwork will
result in your chosen payment option reverting to
Option 1. - All submitted policies will be reviewed.
Students whose policy disqualifies them will be
notified in writing and must chose another option
or be defaulted to Option 1. - Please feel free to contact the Student Account

tuition payment company -

- click on Sign up for a payment plans in the
left hand column and then click on
Cohort/Graduate Students.
15Credit Card Payments
- On-line payments can be made by going to
http//concordia.csp.edu/BEARCenter/ and clicking
on Make an on-line payment (secure link). - You may call the Concordia University Cashier at
(651) 641-8206 if you wish to have any tuition
and/or fees charged with your credit card. - You may mail your credit card information along
with the stub from your bill to

16If You are placed on Financial Hold
- You will not be allowed to attend upcoming
classes/terms while on financial hold. - Your WebCT access will be disabled for upcoming
classes/terms. - You will not be retroactively registered for a
module missed while on financial hold. You will
need to contact your academic advisor to make up
the missed module(s).
17Tuition and Fees
- Each cohort is assigned a per credit rate. This
rate is guaranteed for the duration of your
original Cohort. - If you switch cohorts, you will be subject to the
current rate per credit. - A 25 late fee will be added to all unpaid
balances (every 4 weeks).

bills! - It is the students responsibility to check
their account on BEAR Path and make payment by
the assigned due dates.

- You will be notified if additional information is
required.
22Financial Aid Process
- Student is offered admission by the Admission
Office - Financial Aid processes forms receives FAFSA
results - Students are notified with an award letter
- Student loans require additional steps
(promissory notes and loan counseling) to
finalize loan consideration

- Loans are dispersed equally to your student
account each term. - Grants are credited at the beginning of each term
and may vary as your credits vary. - Loan funds are sent directly to Concordia 2-3
weeks after each term begins. - Read everything carefully. If you miss a
deadline you may disqualify yourself from certain
types of aid.

26Things to remember about your Financial Aid
- Loans are split evenly among terms, even if
charges are not. - Grants are paid by the number of credits in each
term. - There may be three terms per year
- Fall (August December)
- Spring (January May)
- Summer (May August)

- Classes are grouped by terms. You will be at
least a half-time student each term. - Financial Aid is awarded based on Academic year
(August to July). - Fall

- Summer
- For upcoming years, apply ASAP after your taxes
are completed.
28Things to remember about your Financial Aid
- If you have more aid than needed for tuition
costs during a term, it can be kept on your
account, or you may request a refund at any time
from the BEAR Center by phone or email. - Watch term costs compared to aid awarded some
types of aid (loans) come in equal amounts, but
term costs will vary and may exceed awarded aid.
29Things to remember about your Financial Aid
- Adding or dropping credits will affect your
eligibility for financial aid, you will need to
notify us. You must have at least 6 credits in a
term to receive aid for that term.
