  • Summary
  • From our beginnings at the Committee for Social
    Education and
  • Action of the First Presbyterian Church of
    Marquette, through our
  • early access program growth in 2001, the MCAC
    family has had our
  • patients foremost in our thoughts and actions.
  • In the year 2002 a truly operational set of MCAC
    programs were
  • firmly established in Marquette County to serve
    those patients.
  • The Medical Care Access Coalition is considered
    by many national and
  • state organizations to be a successful model to
    be emulated and
  • duplicated.
  • Most importantly, over 741 MAP patients and 425
    HAP patients
  • received needed medical, dental, and optical
    services through the
  • activities of this coalition of talented
    community people, medical
  • professionals and state organizations.
  • These MCAC patients are our friends, neighbors,
    parents, brothers and sisters.
  • We, as a community, should be very proud of our
    efforts to help all residents
