Reasons for preventing species from becoming
extinct

• The future of our natural environment is becoming
  uncertain as wildlife and wildlife habitats
• disappear.
• Every species in our world plays a unique role in
  earth's intricate ecosystems.
• Plants, animals and humans live together on
  the same land and water,
• and they are interdependent on each other for
  survival in the way that we do not fully
  understand.

• The species Homo sapiens is unprecedented and
  unique among all life on earth. Human
  intelligence surpass those of other creatures.
  These gifts have allowed human beings to populate
  the earth, construct industry, and affect the
  environment in a way that no other species can.
• This great power comes with great responsibility,
  and we should avoid abusing the earth, we should
  stop creating any irreparable damages, such as
  deforestation, over-fishing, huntingthese cause
  the extinction of species and the consequent
  reduction in biodiversity .

• We must have respect for other life forms,
  especially since life on Earth may be the only
  life in the universe. We can show this respect by
  putting effort to prevent the extinction of
  existing species

• The most successful pharmaceuticals have often
  used Nature as a starting point.Every time a
  species becomes extinct, scientists forever lose
  an opportunity to make a new discovery

• Extinctions will lead to ecological disaster is
  an exaggeration.
• e.g. Fossil evidence shows that mass
  extinctions have occurred many times throughout
  the history of life.
• By the principle of survival of the fittest.
  Life forms that cannot keep up with the rapid
  changing world will always risk extinction,
  unless they adapt to the new challenges.

• The speedy development of genetic engineering
  allow mankind to get rid of disease without
  resorting to medicines. They no longer need to
  refer to the Nature.
• Biodiversity policies are financially costly and
  spend taxpayers' money.

Ways to achieve protection

• If we protect the habitats in which the
  threatened animal species live,then they will
  also be protected.
• To do this, we need to identify the animal and
  plants that are declining by counting and
  recording their population, we need to see if
  they are found in all of the places that they
  used to live.
• Moreover, we need find out as much as is possible
  about their lives and what they need for living.

Ways to achieve protection

• We need to ensure that habitats that have
  decreased in recent years are prevented from
  declining any further.
• We can do this by ensuring that they are not
  built on, by replanting trees where they have
  been cut down, by not polluting our waterways and
  by creating new areas of rare habitats.

• Inform area wildlife agencies of opportunities
  develop or expand endangered species recovery
  cooperation.
• You may live near the habitat of an endangered
  species that no one knows about, or even know the
  ways on how the habitat could be enhanced or
  protected

• Ensure that species at risk are not in harm's
  way. For example, biologists help to recover the
  Lake Erie water snake suggest that you use a
  broom or stick to gently encourage this harmless,
  nonvenomous species to move off roads, away from
  boat motors and other machinery where they can be
  injured.
