  • Trust-- Firm reliance on the integrity, ability,
    or character of a person or thing.
  • Why is it important for teachers to be able to
    trust students?
  • How do you know you can trust somebody?
  • How can you earn trust?

Expectations
  • Respect yourself, your classmates and teacher at
    ALL times.
  • No cursing, put downs, rude gestures, teasing or
    disruptive behavior.
  • Be on time, in your seat, and ready to work.
  • Listen to and follow directions the first time
    they are given.
  • Keep hands, feet and all other objects to
    yourself.
  • Bring necessary supplies EVERY DAY.

  • You must be in your seat, working when the bell
    rings
  • Bring a teacher note if you are excused.
  • Complete the warm-up quietly so that roll can be
    checked

  • Check the board for a warmup.
  • Use the computers after and ONLY after being
    given permission.

  • Go straight back to the computers before waiting
    to hear instructions.
  • Checking email.
  • Surfing inappropriate or non-educational
    websites.
  • Playing games
  • Using the Speech command
  • Print unless you ask Coach T first.

What do I do if I need help?
  • DOs
  • Get up quietly and walk to the board.
  • Sign up to be On Deck
  • Include your name your question
  • Move on to something else and come back
  • DONTs
  • Come up to Coach Ts desk when he is helping
    someone else.
  • Come back to your desk and sit and do nothing
    until you get called up for help.
  • Talk to the people around you while you are
    waiting.

Finish Strong-- TIME OUT
  • Last 5 minutes of class
  • Turn in all work
  • Pick up all trash around desks, computers and in
    labs.
  • Push in all chairs
  • Return books to proper location.
  • Return borrowed supplies to appropriate location.
  • Check in or check out cameras.
  • Recharge batteries.
  • Everyone seated before the bell rings to get
    dismissed.
