Rakousko - Linec (BT) "Město Linec se nachází v severní části Rakouska, na obou březích malebného ohybu Dunaje. Ve městě žije více než 210 tisíc obyvatel, je třetím největším městem v Rakousku. Linec je statutárním městem a taktéž okresem. Město bylo založeno Římany pod názvem Lentia, jméno „Linze” bylo poprvé zaznamenáno v roce 799. Fridrich III. si dokonce Linec zvolil mezi roky 1489 a 1493 za své sídelní město a hlavní město Svaté říše římské, Vídeň byla právě obsazena uherským králem Matyášem Korvínem. Slavným obyvatelem Lince byl astronom Johannes Kepler, který zde strávil několik let svého života, vyučoval matematiku a v roce 1618 objevil „třetí zákon“ o pohybu planet. Byla po něm pojmenována univerzita (Johannes Kepler Universität Linz).
