    TRANSPONDER, 1 DME, (for ILS appr.) 1 ILS/GS
    with indicator, 1 MKR BCN.
  • Clearance Required IFR Yes, and VFR at night in
    civil controlled airspace with VNM flight plan.

SPECIAL USE AIRSPACE
  • Restricted Areas (EDRs) mainly include military
    training terrain extend from the ground up to
    varying altitudes, and are predominantly active
    Mon - Fri and in some cases permanently.
  • Specific restricted areas with the additional
    TRA (Temporary Reserved Airspace) serve military
    exercise flights. These areas are active Mon -
    Fri, their vertical limits are variable, and the
    lower limits are partly below FL 100. They are
    established for uncontrolled VFR flights in
    single and two seat combat jet aircraft. Military
    aircraft are not separated from each other.
  • Danger Areas (EDD) exist over the North Sea and
    the Baltic Sea and should be avoided in the
    interest of safety.
  • See AP/2A for listing effective times.
