• 1st Instrument
• 2nd Instrument
• Inventing
• Listening

Inventing

• You will compose and record various tunes through
  out the year.
• A person from the exam board may come to listen
  to the tapes.

Listening

• You will learn new listening terms every week.
• You will be given regular homework.
• The multiple choice exam will take place in May
  of Fourth Year

2nd Instrument

• You will be recorded playing several pieces on
  your 2nd instrument, at various times throughout
  the course.
• A person from the exam board may come to listen
  to the tape.

Solo

• You will play pieces lasting 4 6 minutes in
  total on your 1st instrument.
• The exam will take place in February of Fourth
  Year
• You will play on your own in front of an
  Examiner, who will be a teacher from another
  school.

Current pieces

• You will work for the next few weeks on which
  ever of the two instruments is gaining the lowest
  mark.
