Fiscal Inequity
  • Initiate study to clearly define/demonstrate
    financial inequity or not (identify extent of
    problem, cost benefit quantification)
  • Develop strategies on how to get Province
    involved involve regions?
  • Ask Admin to determine existing residential/non
    residential fees identify additional fees

  • Place surcharge on water for regionals
  • Develop public information campaign to inform
    Edmonton residents of fiscal inequity social
    inequity
  • Better define the social costs of inequity.
    Convince Province to assume these social issues,
    or to fund these services
