grass.
- Grasslands are covered with tall grass.
3Tundra Biome
- The tundra is supper cold.
- The tundra has no trees.
- Very few people live there.
One place you can find a Tundra at is
Alaska. Another place is a lot of places in
Canada.
4Wetland Biome
- A lot of animals live in the wetlands.
- Lots of wetlands are swamps.
- Wetlands are where a lot of predators live in the
wetlands.
You can find a lot of Wetlands in Florida. You
can also find them On the east coast.
5Tropical Rainforest Biome
Tropical Rainforest are found all over
Europe. Rainforest are also found in Brazil.
- Rainforest get a lot of rain.
- The rainforest floor does not get a lot of sun.
- The rainforest has millions of animals in it.
6Deciduous Forest Biome
- Deciduous forest are mostly found in places with
little rain and cool climates, like Canada. They
are also found in Alaska.
- Deciduous forest are
- usually cold. They are very
- pretty.
- They have lots of
- animals.
7Taiga Biome
- This kind of biome is found all over Canada. You
can also find them in Russia.
- Taigas are found to be very
- cold.
- Taigas are pretty dry.
- Most of the trees are pine.
8Desert Biome
Deserts are found in Egypt. Deserts are also
found in Australia.
- Deserts are very dry.
- Mostly everyday it is 115 degrees.
- Deserts hold very few animals.
9Coral Reef Biome
Coral reefs are Found in California. They are
also found In Hawaii.
- Coral reefs are very fragile.
- Coral reefs are the most colorful biome.
- Millions of species live there.
10Deep Sea Biome
- Down there is so dark you cant see.
- The water is very cold.
- Very few animals live down there.
Deep sea biomes were found in the Galapagos
Islands. Deep sea biomes are also found all over
the oceans.
11Rivers Biome
- A lot of rivers go through states.
- Lots of rivers interact with each other.
- Lots of plants and animals grow and live in
rivers.
One river is located in Pierre, South Dakota.
Rivers are mostly found going through land.
